I will be working at a very cool company starting on the 20th.  I
think this will be a great opportunity for me.

In other news, I am in Utah visiting my aunt.  This was supposed to be
a mountain biking trip, but the weather has been awful, so it's been
more of a yoga, hike, and chat kind of visit.  My parents have also
showed up, which also mellows the trip physically while making it a
bit more ... exciting emotionally.  It's nice to see them so much,
though.  I can't remember the last time I had the opportunity to
really spend time with them.

I'll drive back home tomorrow, as will mom and dad, who are flying out
of Denver early Tuesday morning.  Then I spend the rest of the week
getting various tasks accomplished and start work on Monday.  In the
end, I will only have been unpaid for 6 days, and that only because I
chose to take some time for myself after getting the offer.  Not bad
at all.

DH reports that Oscar's EGC is down to a scab; neither of us can
remember if it scabbed in the process of healing last time.  Unsure if
we should get her another shot.  I'll take a look and call our vet
when we get back.
