Oh. Well.... SHOOT!!!! I've been dying to own a cd with Over The Rainbow
by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole (IZ). We went to Hawaii two winters ago and fell
in love with Hawaiian music. This rendition can be heard at the end of
"Fifty First Dates", as well as in "Meet Joe Black" (and I'm sure countless
other movies).
Alone in IZ World is the cd we went with *finally*. And it's SOOOoooOOO
good. He does his own rendition to Mona Lisa, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star,
Starting All Over Again, and the all time fav "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".

Ah, I love his voice. <G> I have his CD Facing Future, which also has his
version of Over The Rainbow on it. I love it. =o) Puts me in the mood for
some turquoise blue surf, and waving palm trees. =o) Of course, I'm seldom
NOT in the mood for turquoise blue waters, white sand beaches and waving
palm trees.... =o) But it's a great balm to the spirit while I commute to
and from work.
