If you plug the power cord into the cd player, there's another key
sitting on the slide-out tray.  Where did you find a cassette tape?

I read some of the comments on the 'escapers' page.  One of the
comments talked about a safe and that the memo's url is the
combination.

I should have said that the URL leads to a page with the combination
on it.  "3520"

OK.  Now I have the box, the first ring, the silver and gold keys to
the drawers, the power cord to turn on the CD player and get the key
from the slide-out tray.  I forgot how to get the little metal rod
that fits in the box.   The URL leads to a combination (3520).  I've
got the cassette from under the dresser.  I've got the battery and the
empty CD holder.  Anyone else playing this?  There's supposed to be a
wall safe I think.

Where's the battery? I have the mystery box, the empty cd case, the
memo, the 3 keys, the cassette, the power cord and the ring.

The combination is downloaded into a cookie.  Everyone's is different.

The wall safe comes after you get the mystery box (cassette player)
and it points to the location of it.

Look in a shadow near the foot of the bed and to the right of it.  Try
opening and closing the blinds a few times.  Do you suppose three
things might be hidden in the bed?

You don't need to hear the cassette, you need to watch for the
crosshairs that the dancer points to on the wall...  put your coursor
on that spot, and wait for the cassette to end, then click on that spot
on the wall (it took me a couple of trys to get it exactly right). Then
you can use the combination and the last key.

I can't find the power cord!  I found the CD's and the cassette player and
keys and a ring.  No idea about a wall safe or a jewelry box.

This game reminds me of the very, very old "Advent" from the early 1980's
where you type "look at [whatever]" and "get [whatever] and you can't see
where you're going but if you're smart you'll map out where you walked NSEW
and keep track of the caves and tunnels.

I've *got* to go to bed.  The heat we are having in upstate NY is just hell
on the body.  However, we bought a kiddy pool...  w/no kids, `cept for ones
w/whiskers.  Doubt they'd like the pool.  Anyway....  fun in the sun and
watering every thing (and two beers) has got me tired.

BUT...  I can't wait to read this thread tomorrow!!!  (Bev, this is all your

This is diabolical.   I found the two rings, three keys, empty cassette
box, url, battery, cord which I used to turn on the player, a cd box,
the mystery box where the two rings fit and which I can't open, and
that's it, - can't find anything else.
I haven't looked at the help window but it may be a last resort, sigh.
Why do I  get involved in these things.

Have you found the extra battery you need to run the cassette player
(box).  There's a little area you have to touch near the floor when
the bed is to your left.   You'll then scroll to where the battery is
hidden at the foot of the bed.  When you get the cassette to play, see
if you see anything that's being pointed out to you and how many times
it's pointed to.  I'm assuming you found the cassette under the
dresser.

Honestly, Yowie...  it didn't do that much for me.  Heh...  maybe I'll go
there right now and try it again.  Today is a 'down day' for me.  My
fibromyalgia is in full swing (I have the ouchies as I call it), and I'm due
to start my ".", which leaves me listless, cranky, tired, etc.  So...  I
have alllllll day to do nothing.  Or, in my case, to do a computer game.

Hmmm....  am I headed for trouble or what???  ;o)))

middle of the night when I got up to use the restroom.  Today it's in my
shoulders and neck.  Quite painful...  but I have a doc appt. to go to

I dunno. Are you a bubble wrap addict? I suspect the addiction factor of

If you look closely, the figure points to an little 'plus sign' on the
wall.  Wait till he's done and then click the spot where the plus sign
was three times (once for each time he pointed to it).  You should get
a reaction from the wall.

You're missing something in the bed.  As long as you have the pillow
up next time, see if there isn't something that might fit in the long
depression in the lock box hiding in the bed.  Here's another hint.
It's a video cassette and there's a spot on the wall that's  pointed
to in the short performance.

Can't seem to find any lock box in the bed. It feels as if I've clicked
on every millimeter of the bed, both with the pillow up and down. The
only cassette I've found so far was under the credenza, or whatever
you'd call the yellow piece of furniture with the cd-player and
loudspeakers on top. That cassette doesn't "interact" with the
mystery-box-player-thingy with the rings in the holes. It's obvious I'm
missing something, but what...?

Forget it, Bev, I won't even look!   I got horribly addicted to bubbels for
several weeks and played it far too long into the night.  Not any longer,  I
have pretty well recovered.
I won't even enter the crimson room, let alone try and get out of it ;-)
Although it does sound intriguing..

NO. NO. NO.  I'm not going to look.

Nope.  Absolutely no chance.  Bev can be quite dangerous with these games,
don't fall for it. ;-)

Tweed

Look at this thread!!  My paw prints are all over it!!  (I don't wanna talk
about that dang room!!)  ;ox  I've walked away, smoked a ciggy (outside of
course), post in another group, checked the cat's bowl, washed it and
refilled it, go back to game, get up and walk away, go check plants out
front, water them, post in another group, try to get the damn thing to open
at the foot of the bed in the game, go smoke, go to the bathroom/loo, back
to game, *quickly* grab paper towels b/c Maui made a sound like he was going
to hork up a hairball...  (`never did), back to game...

Shall I go on??
