I came back from walking Bonnie, my d*g (and the bane of HRFL Tiger's
life) earlier. Without realising I hadn't shut the front door properly,
I went and made a cup of tea.

The cats are ABSOLUTELY NOT EVER allowed outside the front of my house
because the road can be very busy, so of course HRFL has made it his
lifes ambition to see what is out there.

Out of the blue, Bonnie came running into the kitchen and barked at me.
Then she started whining and tugging on my trousers with her teeth. So,
as it's not her normal behaviour, I went to see what was wrong.

I got into the hall, just in time to see HRFL Tiger sneaking out of the
front door which was slightly ajar. Bonnie went after him and tried to
herd him back into the house with her nose, whining all the while.

To say he was pissed that he had been caught, was an understatement. He
gave Bonnie look of pure loathing, slapped her upside the head and went
off upstairs in a right huff. Me OTOH, gave Bonnie a big cuddle and told
her what a good girl she was.

My dog is not nearly as dumb as she makes out she is.

I think Bonnie will have to learn to sleep with her eyes open. I'm so
glad HRFL didn't get near the road.

A house is not a home, without a cat.

He must have been mortified.  I'm glad you shared that one!

I think HRFL Tiger would call her a KGB Snitch. =o) But thank heavens he
didn't have a dangerous adventure in the middle of a busy street.  Good Dog,
Bonnie!

A great story which you should definitely submit to

I think Bonnie deserves some sort of treat for handling Tiger and keeping
him away from the street and in the house!  Thinking back to the days when I
had a dog, he liked chicken livers and ham :)
