*SIGH*

well I made it through the day, and now I'm finally relaxing, kinda

I had a big cup of coffee this morning, but still wasn't operating on
all four cylinders.  I walked into work and said said, "Good kitty" to
a dog I was about to restrain, much to the amusement of my co-worker

This dog Sydney was SO hard to restrain that by the time we were done,
I was a little more awake but I was dripping sweat.

It was a busy morning.  Yesterday I managed to do 4 jugular blood draws
in a row.  Today I couldn't hit the jugular vein to save my life.

The highlight of the day was that I got to do another dental.  It had
been a while, but since we have new employees, I'm a little more senior
and able to now perform dentals.  It went pretty well, and I felt fine

But afterwards, I felt my energy draining away.  I ended up getting
stuck with the younger of the two St. Bernards, Brandi

She's eight months old, the size of a mastiff and is a BRAT.  She snaps
if you try to do anything to her back end or her feet.  She was such a
pain, I couldn't really use my hands to work in the soap, all I could
do was just use the hose, squirting soapy water at her.  She kept
barking and lunging towards me everything I aimed the hose in a spot
she didn't like.

When I turned on the dryer, it got even worse.  She barked and snapped
at me ever few seconds.  Fortnately I would hold the dryer out of her
reach.  My patience was quite short, so I was screaming "NO!!" and that
would shut her up for a few minutes.  But after 40 minutes of trying to
dry around her, I really was ticked off.

Fortunately a coworker came to relieve me so I could go to lunch.  I
said, "Thank god you came, cause I was about to show Brandi my right
cross."

I got to rest a little during lunch.  The rest of the afternoon was
quiet, but it seemed to take a long time for five o'clock to come
around.

Urgh....

Well, I'm off to a hot shower and then to bed, since I have to work
again tomorrow.

Are you having regular, nourishing meals?  I hope you tried to get by on a
cup of coffee?   MLB

I hope you sleep tonight, so tomorrow will be a better day.

That sort of day would be hard enough after a full night's sleep. I
certainly admire you.

What a day, and especially after not sleeping!
Lots of purrs and best wishes for a much better night's sleep,
