I'm so proud of her!

Thunderstorms rolled through yesterday afternoon and evening and Persia
initially hid (as usual).  But then she decided hmmm, Mom is still sitting
there, not hiding.  So she ventured out of the closet.  I picked her up and
put her in my lap as the thunder grew louder and the rain poured down.  She
was purring in a non-distressed way and stayed draped across my left arm to
the point where it was falling asleep.  *Then* she got down and went to the
window to watch the rain.  It was still thundering!!  She may (finally) be
overcoming her fear of thunder!  I'm so proud of her!  Of course, it doesn't
matter to me either way; if she feels more safe and protected by hiding in
the closet when there is "noisy weather" that's okay, too.

I used to have a handle on life...but it broke off.

Jill,
This is a strange thing.  Mainly I use uni.berlin for a newsreader, but I
also have my wanadoo nr which I hardly ever look at except for a back up.
For interest, I did, today and there was a post from you and follow-ups that
did *not* appear on news.i.
You followed later on news.i, with a similar post, not the same but both
about the thunder.
?

Both posts showed up on my server, I started to think I was going mad.
Then I remembered I'd already gone. ;-)

<g>  Me too!   My nin server tells me I have 2263 unread, 2875 not
downloaded.  So I must have caught a few undownloaded nin posts on wanadoo,
but I really don't have time to check one against the other normally as the
threads are collapsed and yes, I know how to uncollapse them, but there
really isn't time to go through so many thousand messages.  I can only offer
apols to anyone who happens to expect a reply from me and didn't get
downloaded from nin so I might have never seen it.

I never saw my original post so I posted it again.  Sorry for the confusion.
Maybe I'm the one going mad!

Your first post and replies to it never appeared via uni b, only the second
but wanadoo showed both.  You are not going mad!
I sent a post to Marina a few days ago that didn't appear, neither did it
show on my server when I posted it again, I could only view it via Google,
so that's strange too.

That's a really big step for Persia.
Lots of purrs and best wishes,
