I was out of the house all day yesterday and when I returned Harvey did
not meet me at the door like he usually does. I went through the house
checking all of his usual hangouts, I even checked outside just in case
he had slipped past us. No Harvey. As you can imagine it was a
sleepless night worry about him.
This morning while taking my bath, I thought I could hear him calling
for me (or at least thats what I like to think when he meows). So once
again I searched and searched. I then thought well maybe he has gotten
in the basement, so I went and looked again. NO Harvey. By this time I
am once again looking in cabinets, behind chairs, in dressers. Still No
Harvey.
Just a while ago, while paying the water bill, I thought I heard him
again. It dawned on me, Harvey had to be in the wall behind the tub. So
I pulled out the towel cabinet and sure enough when I opened the trap
door leading to the bath plumbing he shot out.
I have no idea how he got in there but said door has now been padlocked
shut.
Skritches,
KittyLady who is very happy Harvey is back.

I know, then he could have told me last night he was stuck or at least
could have explained to me why he was in there.

LOL! Boyfriend, you are such a valiant defender of your house. I'm sure

I am glad too. I worried when he was missing and to think he was in the
house all that time. Poor thing I think he thinks it was my fault, he
is being a bit standoffish still.

Of course it was your fault, it's always the hoomins fault, us cats are
totally blameless.

Thank you Snoopy,
For letting me know that. I will also assume that when I am looking for
socks and find them hidden behind chairs that that is my fault to.
So sorry that I forgot my place for a moment.
