Today our clowder met their cat sitter for the next week while DP and I
are on vacation.

Tyche was actually NOT hateful, instead she purred and rubbed against
everyone!  (Something is terribly wrong.)

Smokey was a bit timid, but once I Picked him up, he started pimpin'
the sitter and his friends.

Kumani was horrified.  The Cat Sitter AND his two friends are ALL
medical students.  That means Human Vets.  And Vets have BUTT
THERMOMETERS and aren't afraid to use them!!!! Oh noes.  She needed to
be bribed with temptation treats to show her face.

Nocturne, meanwhile, thought these med students weren't nearly as smart
as they were alleged to be, and retired to her office, center rear of
area under bed, until they were gone.

You might be surprised when you get back.  Your cats may well have
tranferred their affections by then to the new food provider and be
perfectly happy.
Boyfriend, the scaredy-cat who would never approach anyone but me until I
had to go into hospital now winds himself around Stan's legs.  He did it
this afternoon too even though I am now feeding and caring for him again.
Fickle boy.
Kitty FC, although apparently the ringleader in going round to Stan's house
to remind him he was late providing dinner, does no such thing.  It would be
beneath her to suck up to a stranger in that kind of way, although she
hasn't survived so long in the out before she got her onetruehome here
without knowing just how to appeal enough to someone to give her just a
little something..preferably every day ;-)
What I am trying to say is that your kitties will be fine, it is certainly
true that we need them more than they need us and you have people in place
to look after them that must surely be compassionate.  Why else would they
be medical students?

Well, I'm home and my guys are mostly fine, except for nox.  Nocturne
is NOT AMUSED in the LEAST by our antics.  She INSISTED on sleeping on
BOTH our heads last night, and is following us EVERYWHERE, "myeh!
Mya-mya-mya!"  demanding pets, contact, or at the very least for us to
say where she can supervise us and generally behaving like a
domineering little tyrant.

Awww.  I think she missed us.
