Spay purrs?

May Miranda have a few purrs for Thursday? We will go to the cats-only
vet for the first time, and she will be spayed if the vet thinks she is
big enough. I'm probably going to be a nervous wreck. I take her in at
10.30, and should be allowed to take her home later the same day.

Finland is two hours ahead of UK time, so I will have my two purring up
a storm from 8:30 here.

Lots of neighbourly purrs for Mirandas' spaying to go well!

Thea & Bono chime in with Hugo on those purrs going east-
Best wishes for Miranda and remember to tell her to leave the stitches alone
if she's going to wear a bikini this summer - worked with Thea anyway, she
never touched the stitches and didn't have to wear any collar.

Of course!  Purrs for an easy surgery and a quick recovery.

But of course, starting to purr now and will keep it up through
Thursday.

BTW, Spot goes in for her checkup tomorrow to see if she's healthy
enough to be spayed. I don't think there's any problem with her health
- still a little thin, but she's been holding steady just over six
pounds for a while now. I think she's just a lean muscular cat like
Sammy (who, BTW, is about double Spot's weight, but a taller/longer
girl). LB is my fluffy girl, about Sam's weight and just a little
bigger than Spot.

Purrs for Spot's visit to TED, too. I think Miranda weighs about 2 kg
(less than 1 lb) and the vet tech they'd rather she weigh at least 2.5
kg. But they're going to check if she's healthy, and then maybe spey her
anyway.

I wonder if they have any food you can try to get her on. That girl needs to
eat a little!

You got it, Marina.  Purrs for meowmie's frazzled nerves, as well as
for Miranda to have a purrfect spay.

It seems just a few weeks since she was a tiny one.  Lots of painless
spaying purrs coming from England for Miranda and also for your nerves.

Safe, easy, routine spay purrs heading Miranda's way.  I'm sure she'll be
fine!

RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

I'm sure everything will go fine, but the power of the Purr never hurts. =o)
It was hard to turn Nina over to the Vet in January, but she came through
the experience just fine, and is in blooming good health.  Francesca too, is
fine, and the occasion of her spaying was rather dramatic, as she also had
to have a C-Section to get Nina out.
I'm sure Miranda will come through perfectly, but good luck!

I'm sure she's big enough.  In the shelter where I got my Sumo and
Natasha, they take the barely weaned kittens straight to TED and the
new 'owner' picks up the kittens there two days later.  Very early
spaying and neutering usually pose no more problems for the kittens
and the shelter doesn't have to worry about people 'forgetting' to
bring them in at six months or so.

I guess I'm trying to say don't worry, but of course we'll be sending
out best purrs.

Empatheitc purrs from my boys, who still remember their neutering (even
though that's a mere bagatelle compared to a spaying) (ducks & covers)
