That just a few weeks ago my prognosis was so bad, confirmed by doctors
experienced in ovarian ca.
I wrote before that when I queried my bad prognosis in hospital the doc said
it was almost certain that I would have a poor outcome, and if you had seen
me, looking 8 months pregnant in just a few weeks, you would have believed
it.
I got purrs and prayers from you all. I was blessed and anointed by the LDS
priesthood and took the homeopathic remedies for ovarian ca from my friend.
Something worked as I have now an 85% chance of recovery from almost nil.
I like to think it was a combination of all those things.

P.S. I now look only three months pregnant as my tummy is still swollen
from the surgery. But hey! who cares if it means I will live? <g>

You have no idea how glad I am for your improved prognosis. I had two
friends who are no longer here from
that sneaky disease; your symptoms matched theirs right down the line. They
didn't suffer as it is so sneaky you don't get the specific symptoms till
"uh-oh" time. Almighty
has decided you need to be here for some reason and I for one am almost as
grateful as you are. Let us hope medical research finds a way to stop it
sooner! From across the pond I send you recovery purrs and meatloaf
meditations to bask in your extreme good fortune. The only thing $ can't buy
(I learned from long-time hospital work) is health (example: Jackie
Kennedy).

Purrs are a very powerful force in the universe! I can not tell you how
glad I am that your prognosis is looking so good now. Purrs and purr-ayers
are still coming with the intensity of love and hope and faith!

Such great news! Don't worry about the tummy. Just buy a couple of summer
dresses that have empire waists (right under the bustline). Hides a
multitude of sins!
Again, great news. I'm sure your babies are thrilled!

Here is another favorite poem you may enjoy!
Proof
If radio's slim fingers
Can pluck a melody
From night, and toss it over
A continent, or sea;
If the petaled white notes
Of a violin
Are blown across a mountain
or a city's din;
If songs, like crimson roses
Are culled from thin blue air,
Why should mortals wonder
If God hears prayers?

Thank you for sharing that lovely poem which I never knew before. I sent it
on to my aunt who has looked after me until a few days ago, I knew she would
love it and she emailed me tonight to say that she is saving it.

THAT'S the attitude to have! =o) We're just glad things are turning out
better than you expected or hoped at this time last month, Tweed. Here's
hoping this promising direction keeps on going!

I'm so glad to read this, Christina. We need all the nice people we can
find to help improve the world. We're also glad that you won't have to make
those arrangements that you had set in gear for your friends.
