Sorry this is so off topic but I thought maybe you could help me out
with a suggestion on a site that offers free ecards (son's birthday --
He does has a cat :p )
I went to all the sites I have used in the past, and now they want you
to register and give them a credit card for billing, etc. I just want
to send one measly card! Geez, when did this become so hard to find?
Thanks if you have any recommendations. I've been searching for hours.

Hallmark.com has free e-cards. You do have to give them a minimum
amount of information to send the card (your email address). Go to
Hallmark.come and under "our products" they list free ecards.
I've also used http://www.123greetings.com/ Again, all they need is
your email address.

I did a quick search on Google with "free e-cards" and got a whole lot
of hits. Hallmark and 123greetings are among the results, but there are
quite a few more. Give it a try!

The thing is, they say they are free. And when you complete all the
info, you have to subscribe to email it. To subscribe, you have to
provide name, address, email, etc. Then you have to read the TOS and
you are able to send cards free for 30 days TRIAL period, then your
credit card gets deducted $14 bucks. You do have to give your credit
card info up front in order to email anything. It is so maddening.

None of that applies to Hallmark.com, just click on the "free ecards" link.

I wish I would have found this earlier! I did find something at
Hallmark with a cat scratching the furniture which I think he will
like. He has a young kitten that is tearing up his apartment.
Hallmark rules! I couldn't find their free ecards before. I thank you
all for the links.

Yesterday I also was looking for a cat card for a cat-loving friend and
did the same as you. It was just infuriating!! I found a beauty (they
said it was free), filled it all in and you guessed it, got the credit
card and 30 day trial bit. This happened several times and I finally
ended up with 123 Greetings which I use a lot anyway.
