I have an interview with a promising company at 1pm, about two hours
from now.  If you have a moment, please send a mental boost my way
between 1-3 or so.

"Don't talk too fast and don't interrupt" wishes are welcome, too.

Well, it ran from 1-3:45.  That seems like a good sign =)

They still have a few more candidates to interview, but they aim to
reach a decision by the end of next week.  Drat!  No instant answer.

Bet you  five bucks you got it.

I don't bet -- and I don't want to bet against my own success, anyway!
-- but I appreciate the vote of confidence.  After seeing the work
environment and talking to some of the people, I am even more
interested in this job.

Whoops, discovered this thread a little late to give you good wishes
beforehand, Monique. But if they talked to you for almost three hours,
I think they may have liked you. =o) Good luck, I hope you're the top
candidate, and that it becomes increasingly clear as they interview the
other people!

Yeah, DH says that if the managers hadn't liked me, they would have
cut it short before letting everyone else spend more time with me.

Thanks!  This is a really cool company, and I've made it clear to them
that I think so ... I think I could learn a lot and help a lot, both.

I suppose it's too late for the mental boost and slow talking wishes, but I
do hope all went well and that you find yourself going back to work soon.

I'm coming in late on this, but purrs were already coming to you for help
finding the perfect job, so hopefully that helped.  Let us know what
happens!

It's probably way too late for this because it's almost 10 am here,
but I hope it went well for you, Monique.

I think the interview went well; I'm told they want to make a decision
by the end of next week, so I will probably know one way or the other
by the 10th.

Just sent out my thank you notes to all seven interviewers =)
