take a moment to play proud Mama (of hoomins as well as pets), I'd like
to introduce you to my oldest daughter, Breanna. Born June 8th, 1992,
Breanna is an outgoing and insightful girl who loves to spend time with
other folks and keep active.
Just this past winter, she decided to join the Army Cadets after hearing
about it from a good friend at school. In the short time she's been a
member, she's already received an award! The kids went on a campout a
couple of weeks ago, and Breanna pulled fire duty. At four am, she had
to get up and tend the fire for an hour to make sure it didn't go out.
Even after all this, she still loves it, and is talking about joining
the reserves when she graduates high school. She also says that when
Sarah, our youngest daughter is old enough, we should put her in cadets,
cause it will smarten her up. :) hehee...:)
Here is a link to a couple of cadet related pics of breanna, and a
couple from her dance program (last year for that, been in since she was
two)

Nice pics!
I was in Air Cadets as a teenager. I got my glider pilots licence for
free at age 16 and the following summer I got my private pilot's
licence. I didn't continue on in the military because I'm not much
for taking orders. Surprisingly, I'm not much for giving orders
either ;-)
But cadets was a generally good experience for me and made me much
more assertive and outgoing. Before I joined I was shy and
introverted...now I'm the opposite!
