Bert is a great cat. Bertha, upon initial faulty inspection by
me...changed after vet's examination. No balls?
Q - I see no pics posted here, tho it's a hugely popular site. What's
etiquette...give a link to pics?
Tho black cat is hard to see:)

Hi Brad. This group doesn't support binary files, so you need to post links
for us to see Bert. If you need a hand with that, just holler. There are a
number of free photo hosting sites out there Webshots and Yahoo being the
main two I know of.
Welcome to the group, and tell us about Bert.

We'd all like to hear more about both you and your kitty. Unless you
have a web site, proper etiquette calls for posting the binary files
to alt.binaries.pictures.animals and posting a pointer here.
Most of the folk with black cats say the pictures show up best when
using natural light.

Yes, many people cannot receive binaries, so posting them to
Usenet newsgroups is frowned upon, unless you choose one of
the groups designated for them. (Most of the people here
post links, instead.)

Welcome to the group, Brad. This isn't a binaries group, you could give
a link to pics or post them to alt.binaries.pictures.animals with a note
her to let people know. You could do both as not everyone has access to
that group.
