I don't usually watch any of the Idol shows, whether American or Australian,
but Joel was channel flipping the other day and I got to see some guy doing
a song /a capella/ and I thought "Wow! Who is this Guy?". Turns out he's
"Bo" on American Idol.

I don't care if he wins or not - I'm not that involved - but it seems he has
far more depth than the usual run of "pop" idols that come through and win.
Perhaps because he's older than the average winner, perhaps because he
doens't have that "pop" pretty look,. I dunno, but I was very taken by his
/a capella/ performance, and i reckon he'll go palces that the other Idols
won't. (thats not to say that other "idol" contestants can't sing well, but
so far,t hey've all seem rather err, manufactured to me)

Just my opinion, of course, because I"m not a talent scout :-)

He had a lot of guts to do that song a capella (and did it well).

Bo rocks and he has rocked all season.  This is the first season I've
ever seen of American Idol and I've mainly been watching because of
him.  He's got it made, whether he wins or not.
