Introducing a wonderful site:  The Chef's Cat!  Webmaster: Catnipped.
Recipes and photos supplied by yours truly.  This is a work in progress.  As
I send more recipes, she adds them to the site.

KUDOS to her for throwing this together in basically a day and then adding
to it as I send my recipes.  This site just proves how unappreciated she is
at that job of hers.  She has real talent when it comes to web design.

And just *look* at what she did to Persia!  LOL

Comments, questions, suggestions, all welcome!

Oh, and I could use some help with stuff that falls under desserts (and
cakes and pies) since I very rarely eat or prepare sweets.  (I do have a
recipe for my Aunt Jean's German Chocolate Cake and a lovely Spice Cake with
Maple frosting; will send those along when I get the chance.)

Suggestion:  Put in all the recipes collected in the ng during troll-bq's

I'm not nearly done sending her recipes.  Been cooking for 30 years so
there's more to come!  Wouldn't want to flood the ng and turn into a troll
myself ;)

I LOVE it! Especially the picture of Persia. The illustrations were
wonderful too!

The only criticism I have is stylistic - Would it be better to use
<th> header tags with the pictures, instead of a separate link next to
the pictures? It seemed a little confusing to me, to figure out which
text went with which picture...

You mean the pictures of the food?  Click the pictures will get you a window
opened that you can print if you want a picture to go with your recipe,
clicking the link will get you a window opened to a printable recipe.  Do
you mean have the recipe link under (or on top) of the picture in the same
table cell?  That would make sense - I'll do that as soon as we get more
recipes up, right now I'm just trying to space them out so it seems like
there's more there!  ;>

Actually, I was thinking of the thumbnailed categories on the main
page. something like:

<tr>
<th>
<div style="text-align:center">
<a href="link.htm">
Link Header Text
</a>
</div>
<a href="link.htm">
<img src="thumbnail.jpg">
</a>
</th>
</tr>

I used this on my poor excuse for a web site (grin), but without the
additional reference on the header text:

Wow!  What a labor of love!  Well-done, both-- all three of you! Looks
great.

Of course Persia supervised.  She supervises all of my cooking endeavors!

Oh whew. For a minute there, I thought Persia might have been popped into
the stock pot! <G>  Instead, she's just wearing an excellent Chef's hat.

It's a great sight, Jill and Catnipped.  I love Persia's Chef's hat. <G>
I'll dig around and see what I can find in the way of recipes, Jill.
Heh.... Plenty of desserts at my end. Probably too many.
