Persia let me hold her front paw!  She's normally so skittish about me
touching her paws, I was skeptical.  But she always reaches out to touch me
and so I gently took her paw in my hand.  This time she let me! Without
yanking it away.  She even licked my hand.  AWWWW.  What a sweet baby girl
:)

I used to have a handle on life...but it broke off.

Yeah, she let me do it three times!  The fourth time she yanked her paw away
like "enough already!".  But she's never let me touch her front paws like
that before.

Poor baby.  Probably the last time someone touched her front paws the jerk
amputated them.  At least she was wise enough to find you afterwards and an
inside home where she'll be safe and pampered for the rest of her life!

That's wonderful, and a sign of great trust.  My beloved Misty (RB)
and I used to play the 'paw game'.  If she was sitting near me, I'd
place a finger on top of her front paw.  She'd withdraw the paw and
place it on top of my finger.  This could go on, back and forth, for
some time.  None of my others do anything but pull their paw out and
give me a dirty look.

A house is not a home, without a cat.
