I just got a brief email from Christine's cousin, as follows:

"Tina has had her op and is back on the ward. They describe her as
comfortable, which I think is a standard phrase. They will never talk
about a patient on the phone but I will be visiting her this evening and
will update you then."

All's well so far then - let 's hope she really is as comfortable as
they are saying. I'll post more as soon as I have it.

Thanks for the information.  I was wondering/worrying about it.  Purrs
(and prayers) continuing.

Sounds like all went well. Thanks for letting us know, Deb. We were
purring at 4 our time (I went around and gave each cat a good scritching
to start their purr engines.

Well, it's better than other news we could receive. I really pray that no
matter what the diagnosis, getting that out of there has to be somewhat more
comfortable than before!

Rexie adds his purrs to everyone else's.  Tweed's facing a long recovery,
but with faith and luck, she'll pull it off and get home to her 'brood'.

I'm glad the surgery is over.  That's the first step to recovery.
"Comfortable" probably means "doped to the gills".  Thanks for letting us
know.  We'll be anxiously awaiting further updates.

Thanks for the update, Deb.  Twin-turbo purr-motors still going full blast.
