Six months ago a credit card company approved my credit protection insurance
claim (after minimal haggling with them). I got a notice (which I was told
to expect) late last week stating if I wished to continue this protection I
needed to provide them with another letter or email from my former employer
re-confirming the date of my unemployment.
I sent email last week to the woman in HR who provided this the last time.
No answer. So I emailed my former supervisor asking if the woman was maybe
out and was there someone else I could contact. She forwarded it to the
same woman asking her to help me. The HR woman just replied to me, "Jill,
we don't offer credit protection insurance." DOH! I replied back, "The
insurance is not from you, it from my creditor." HELLO?
I think I'm really glad I don't work there anymore, even after 11 years. I
have a really hard time dealing with morons.

Unfortunately, this world is teeming with them, and most have high positions
of power!
