Hi All,

My huge Russian Blue, Smokey, loves his combing.  He doesn't shed
much, but he gets more combing than he needs just because he loves it
so.  One place he really likes it is on the sides of his face.  He
likes it so much that should you lay the comb down before he's had
enough, he picks the comb up in his paws and continues on his own.

It really is one of the cutest cat behaviors I've seen and it never
fails to get me to pick the comb back up and continue till he's had
enough.  He lets me know when by simply walking away and jumping down
from the desk.  You'd think a little nuzzle on the hand or something
would be appropriate.

Cali loves her brushing. She drools all over my pants when she gets brushed.
She's learned a few words for her body parts to make the brushing easier.
She knows Chops (sides of her face), Chin, Butt and Tummy. I was brushing
her a few years ago and stopped too soon for her liking, so she put her paw
on my hand and gave me a look. This was just the start of my training. :)

Our Smokey is not quite as bright as yours. She did not get "the brushing"
at first and was always trying to bite the brush. Now she loves it.
