One of Rob's dalmation mollies gave birth the other day and now a small
flock of itty bitty spotted white fish are playing hide and seek among the
statues and plants of the big tank.  I'm totally enchanted.  Pine Cone is
less amused and seems to think I'm nuts as I talk to the babies.  He
glares at me and rolls his eyes.  I think he's been watching Amanda too
much again.

Codfather! haha! Very cool. I miss having fish. I had freshwater and
saltwater tanks and terrariums too growing up. I miss everything about
having fish--even the tank cleaning. There is something soothing about
having the tanks around and looking after them.

I have a friend who says to his teenage daughter, "Don't give me that
eyeroll!  I INVENTED that eyeroll!"  ;)

Very cute!  I loved it when my platys had babies -- even bought a separate
tank to raise them in.

You'd have thought we'd never seen fish before when John and I found a nice
Chinese restaurant in Kingwood, TX.  After we had lunch and were leaving, we
stood at the huge salt-water tank by the entrance for about 10 minutes, just
watching the fish.  It's hypnotic.

Congrats on the bitty spotted fish :)  Any pics?

Nope.  It's hard enough to catch the kittens for pictures, let alone these
1/4 to 1/2 inch fish which often blend in with the plants and gravel.  I
wish I could though.  they're so spotty and cute.

Felix is very good at that "yeah, right, Mom, whatever" expression.
