This was one of the rare times when he disciplined her. Usually he just quacks and runs away when Mere touches him. Nikki, OTOH, has earned Mere's respect. Mere always approaches her with caution. They were both looking at Nikki, who was sleeping peacefully until Frank bapped Mere down from the shelf. Then Nikki chased her around the flat a few times, went back outside to sleep, and Mere went and took it out on a potted plant. My windows have screens, I am worried that Rusty may push too hard when trying to catch the insects outside that he would fall off the window. I am on the 15th floor so it is a long way down. You can open the panes up, but I only open them a crack to let the air circulate.
