He came through the surgery just fine. Mom said she's still concerned this
bypass procedure may not have done what is necessary to correct the blood
flow problem. Of course, I pointed out the surgery was just this morning
and it may take some time for the full results to manifest themselves.
The moment the doctor came to see him this afternoon he immediately wanted
to know when he could go home. That tells me he's feeling okay :) I'll
call him tomorrow; I wanted him to rest up today.
Thank you for all your purrs and kind wishes.

Hooray!!!
I'm so glad to hear the surgery is over and successful, so far as anyone can
tell for now.
Hope the good news continues to roll in, and that your father will be back
home and feeling good soon.

That's great news! Your dad sounds like an awfully tough and
resilient person. :)

Dad is a retired Marine Colonel, full bird. Been shot, I dunno, he's got
three Purple Hearts, a silver star, bronze star... Yeah, he's tough :) It
sure was fun growing up as his only daughter and youngest child. Heheh.
He's a trooper.

first thing he asked was when he could go home, me to a T, but I dont stop,I
