I need help here.  What candles should I light for my father?  I'm
terrified.  I think I'm going to lose him.

I used to have a handle on life...but it broke off.

I've heard white, turquoise, and blue are all used for healing, but I think
more importantly than the color of the candle is just using it to focus your
psychic energy and then use *that* to direct healing thoughts towards your
father.  I wouldn't use dark colors - those are more associated with the
darker / stronger powers.

What's going on Jill, have you heard something else, or is the waiting
getting to you?

Please know we're sending *our* psychic energy towards you and your father -
purrs and prayers are heading your way.

Hugs,

It's the waiting and not knowing that is getting to me.

Persia is being very supportive.  My LLL is being supportive over the phone
halfway to a show in Kansas.  Peaches is quietly chirping.  I'm worried
sick.

{{{Jill}}} I can understand worry. My mother had a very serious cancer scare
about 14 years ago. (Pancreatic which is usually a fatal form of cancer. By
the time you know you have it, it's usually too late. Fortunately, they were
able to correct it surgically, which is a rarity for that variety. Somebody
sure pulled my family's chestnuts out of the fire.)

Just remember, don't  lose hope quite yet. The best thing you may be able to
do for your father is to be positive and reassuring. Yeah I know, MUCH
easier to say than to do!  Uncertainty is very hard, in some ways, far
harder even than bad news.  But I hope you'll come in for some GOOD news
about his health, and soon.

Purrs still coming for your Dad Jill, Wilson is learning this purring power
now,   Hugs   Jean.
And Melissa, My ex is dying of Pancreatic cancer, His Partner is keeping me
informed and hedoesn't seem to have very long to go, he wants to phone me
but she say's he rarely gets a day when he's well enough to talk on the
phone.  Glad your Dad recovered from it but I think John was too far gone
when it was discovered   Hugs   Jean.

I agree. Far more important than color is the energy you direct through
it. You can never go wrong with good old white, as long as you focus
your energies and visualize the results.

Whatever colour feels "right" to you, something you associate with your
father, something you associate with good things, wholeness, healing etc
etc.

In the end, i don't think its the colour of the candle that matters so much
as your thoughts and prayers.

And our thoughts and prayers and purrs are with you & your Dad.

I don't have any worthwhile advice on candle color, but I've got an
observation for anyone who has a gravely ill relative.

The fear of losing someone you love can be mind-numbing.  Don't let it
cut you off from communication with him.   When my mother told me she
had cancer, I let it put a distance between us because I was afraid
that any conversation would necessarily turn morbid.  It was a mistake
I've regretted ever since.

Light a candle, but call him up just to say hello.

Oh,{{{{Jill}}}}.  I surely hope you are wrong.

White.  Maybe some blue (health).  But lots of white.

I prefer to use green, for vibrant growing things, for health.  But use
whatever colour association is most meaningful for you.

Bright Blessings for your father.
