She seems to be doing better... she barfed quite a bit last night but
that was probably because her tummy was so empty. This morning she had
some water and barfed it up... but when she got some food into her she
was fine. I tried her on kibble and she wasn't interested so I gave
her a teaspoon of tuna with a little olive oil added and she scarfed
it down. Then an hour later she had a little more kibble, and an hour
after that I gave her another teaspoon of tuna. And I've also been
giving her her laxotone hairball remedy. She doesn't want to lick it
off a teaspoon so I put a squeeze on the end of my finger and she laps
it up. So far she's had four of them and I think that's enough until
tonight. She hasn't been anywhere near the litterbox though...  I
cleaned the boxes and changed the litter so she'd have a nicer
bathroom but she hasn't even looked at them yet. I hope she goes soon
or she's going to explode!

I haven't called the vet today because he said to ring back if she was
still thowing up... if she doesn't go to the box some time soon I'll
have to give him a call and see what he says. I've got a feeling it
might end up with a kitty enema, and whatever John says about DIY that
is DEFINITELY a job for the  vet for both our sakes! lol

She's obviously feeling better, because she batted at Scout a little,
and she's sitting up and looking out the window instead of lying there
listlessly, and a few minutes ago she was washing Scout's tail :)

I'm glad she's eating and keeping it down.  I wouldn't worry about the
litterbox just yet.  Since she barfed up everything that went in, her
digestive tract was probably completely empty.  It will take a while for the
processed food to reach the other end.  Also, she was probably dehydrated
after all that vomiting, so she's absorbing any water, rather than excreting
it.

She wasn't empty though... the xray clearly showed that the bottom 2/3
of her digestive system is stuffed full of waste, but there was a bit
empty place at the top third from when she stopped processing new
food. I guess we just have to wait for the new food to catch up to the
old food and move it along!

She's MUCH happier today though - when she started pouncing the mouse
cursor on the screen I knew she was feeling good :) I got out some new
balls for them to play with and they both chased them around the house
for a good hour. I'm quite possibly worrying about nothing now, but
I'll be relieved when I see her 'produce', or even head for the
litterbox with interest...
