This weekend is the first that I haven't had a special needs cat to be
looked after.  A friend drove here from VA and we took my 37yo Olds to a
vintage car rally in Binghamton NY.  The cats got wet food at 4 PM and
the pantry door left open for them to raid the Purina cat chow bag for 2
days.

When I got home yesterday, only Willie came out to greet me, the others
put off by unknown voices.  After they got some wet food again it was
scritches all round and everyone was happy to get some rough-housing,
especially Quinn.  A few scratches were worth it!

Funny dream last night, I dreamt I was living in a Manhattan walkup (I'm
off in the woods here, miles from even a convenience store - wonder what
my subconscious is saying!) and Willie was given up for adoption and, of
all things, Loos was still mine.  Now, Willie is my companion cat so
this is a real plot twist.  Unfortunately I was catching up on lost
sleep so the rest of the dream as well as any other dreams are lost.
Norm  btw, we did well and the car was flawless:

I don't remember a time in my life when I *didn't* have a cat scratch on me
somewhere!  ;>
