What should be a relatively easy task becomes a long, drawn out process when
3 out of 4 cats want to help.

1.   Take cats off bed.
2.   Tell them you're sorry in a nice, loving tone of voice!!  (Very
important).
3.   Put first sheet on bed.
4.   Take one cat off bed.
5.   Trip over one cat that found a puddle of sunshine on the floor.
6.   Take other cat off bed.
7.   Open window due to feeling a bit warm.
8.   Take two cats off bed.
9.   Put body pillow on bed.
10. Take three cats off bed.
11. Quickly put top sheet on bed.
12.  Take darn cat off of THE bed.
13.  Put on cooler shirt and get more deodorant.
14.  Sit down on bed and ask two cats what their purpose is and then take
cats off bed.
15.  Ahem!  Take one cat off bed.
16.  Forget nice kitty in puddle of sunshine and trip over him again.
17.  Other cat enters room and gets on bed.
18.  Can you guess?  Take THREE cats off bed.
19.  Put blanket on bed upside down because I don't care anymore.
20.  Big sigh.  Sweet Kitty!!  Get off bed!!!
21.  Put comforter on bed.
22.  Notice 2 extra lumps on bed.
23.  Walk out of room & trip over DOG who came up to see what cats are
doing.
24.  Come downstairs and sit for a moment.
25.  All cats come downstairs to see how they can help
next!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL...we call making the bed "putting the lumps in the bed". ;)

LOL, indeed! I put clean sheets on my bed this morning, and they must have
just been coated with sheet greeblings, because Nina was hard at work
protecting me from them!  Fortunately, the two older cats were busy
sunbathing and less fascinated with sheet application. I can't imagine
trying to do that with FIVE lumps!

Typical! We have two male cats (both originally strays) named Sox and
Shoes (long story!). As we live on a small-holding they wander all over
the property and accumulate all sorts of *stuff*. Add 'removing
black-jacks, thorns, grass etc. from sheets before washing' to the list...

You left out the part about separating the two that thought it would be fun
to pounce on each other under the sheets/blankets ;)

rules for the cats in the bedroom>!!
