I thought you folks would appreciate this:
I was in the bathroom just after getting home from work yesterday.
Well, Princess Rita doesn't appreciate that my attention was
otherwise occupied (my sole job after work is to pet her as
penance for being away all day), so she positioned herself
by the door and turned her back on me in the classic 'You're
Nobody 'till you've been ignored by a cat' pose. She even
peeked over her shoulder to make sure that I *knew* that
she was ignoring me! (See me ignoring you? How you
like that? Hmph.)
So I laughed, and she peeked around again, annoyed. 'Hey I'm
ignoring you! You're not supposed to Laugh!!'

Is that supposed to be a cat thing? My dog Puma (RB) was a master at
the cold shoulder. If you'd been gone too long or otherwise insulted
his dignity, he would lie down with his butt facing you. The worst
was when he did this and produced a legendary Labrador fart!
