This is unheard of here in Central Texas. Normally at this time of the
year we're beginning to suffocate with high humidity and temperatures
that don't go below 65 F (18C). Last night it was downright cold at 55F
(12C)! We had at least 4 cats in bed and I did not want to get out of
bed in the morning... :)

Shuddup Victor! (Our highs in the day here in Helsinki are around 10C at
the moment.)

Friday is 90F (32C)... :)

I had 4 on me too.  I fell asleep with my electric blanket on too high, and
then had a nightmare.  When I woke up, I was drenched with sweat.  My
husband pokes fun at me because I'll move myself around before I'll move a
cat!!  :)

P.S.  I love Austin!!!

Me too.    If Stinky's sitting on me, I also won't make any moves to
disturb him unless it's something like a fire.  ;)

Stinky is also being very helpful in this chilly weather.  Right now,
he's either very selflessly keeping my lap warm with his tummy, or
very shrewdly keeping his tummy warm on my lap. ;)  He is being
extra-extra cuddly these past couple of days, and he is *always*
pretty cuddly. ;)

Here in Houston too!  I was just commenting to DH how unusual it is this
late in the year!

It's too warm for the heat to go on, and the roof hasn't warmed up
yet, so it's freezing in the house, here.

LOL!  Sometimes we get 80+F weather here in the dead of winter!  This
weather is a blessing!

There are mornings when I don't want to get out of bed ANYWAY, no matter
what the weather. =o) But it was cool enough here in the SF Bay Area last
night that Nina slept under the covers, and Pan slept  right by my left hip
above the covers. Fortunately, Nina was not in the mood to hunt bedmice this
morning. =o) Our lovely, aloof Francesca passed the night in the rocking
chair in the living room.

When I lived on Guam, if it dropped below 70 at night, we piled blankets on.

(Snort) The Hopitus - admittedly one of those "thin-blooded tropical types"
has enjoyed nonstop rain for 2 days now...early this am went down the block
to get the paper and just about froze my butt off before getting back to the
apt. bldg. The natives here, however, are in
"hog heaven", wearing shorts, sleeveless tops and planting flower beds
bigtime.Riding bikes, jogging in rain.
I've stopped "huffing and puffing" but have not lost what's left of my mind
yet.....will summer never arrive here?!
After watching the NFL draft picks am beginning to worry about Shannie's
mind but I still have faith.

Yes, kid, it's me..email me private; it's been a long time.
Here's a cheer-up for *you*, Victor: I just turned on the last unused
heater...looked out the window and what to my wondering eyes did appear but
big snowflakes blowing past our 4th floor windows, and my truck is already a
white behemoth once more! (teeth gnashing)....

Well, that does it.  I'm gonna do an "on topic" and go ask 4 kitties to join
me in bed!!!

Take care,
