for a recheck of her tests. (You may remember that during her checkup
for her heart condition earlier this month she got a complete blood &
urinalysis panel done - her glucose was 198.9mg/dl - normal is
76.0-145.0mg/dl.) Her vet felt it best to keep her overnight before
doing the test. Of course any purrs will be appreciated, but I'm not
too worried. Especially as someone pointed out when I first posted her
results that the test may have been off since I scooped her up before
breakfast before taking her in last time.
This will be her first time since she was born that she hasn't spent
here at home, so I'm hoping she's not too stressed. LB is definitely
missing her daughter. Besides prowling the apartment calling for Sam
she has jumped up in my lap several times - not sticking around for
scritches like normal, just meowing then going off to look through the
apartment again. Right now she's parked in the bedroom window keeping
watch (you have to walk by that window to get to the apartment
entrance). I forgot my cell phone when I went to work this evening.
When I swung by about an hour and a half after leaving LB had
demolished the Sunday paper which I had left next to the recliner -
something she rarely does. For tonight I'm just leaving the paper
scattered all over the living room, hoping she'll just rip it into
smaller pieces instead of looking for something else to tear up.
Also I should apologise for asking for purrs while not posting in
awhile - RL keeps getting in the way, but I only have about 2,000
unread messages.
I'll post the results as soon as I learn something - hopefully first
thing in the morning. (or at least what passes for first thing since I
just got home from work and probably won't get to bed for awhile yet.)

Don't be silly!!! Purrs coming that Sammy had a good night at the vet's and
is not too stressed and that you and L'il Bit will be able to welcome her
home and with good news.

That happens to all of us, and purrs are a constantly renewable resource
(all it takes is the energy to perform ear scritches ;>), so there's always
plenty to go around.
Purr aplenty coming that she had a quiet night and that all turns out well
for her.

Lots of purrs on the way for poor sammy. Hope she is doing alright on

Purrs for Sammy to be okay, and all to return to normal very soon.

Hi Steve -- Missed your posts on the group, then I realized what time
of year it is and know it's your really busy time. Hope Sammy checks
out just fine. She is such a sweet little cat.

Purrs and healthy thoughts going out for Miss Sammy, and Purrs and feel
