Smokey jumped up in my lap last night to tell me it was bed time. She must
have just come out of the box, as she had some litter stuck to her butt fur.
I was not sure how she would react, but I started to pull off the few grains
of litter stuck to her fur. To my surprise, she didn't fidget, she stayed
there with her butt up in the air. Then she turned around and stared into my
eyes with a strange look on her face, half dopey (her normal look) and half
temptress. Smokey usually avoids eye contact, she considers it aggressive
behaviour.
Whoa Smokey, you're a nice girl, but it just wouldn't work out. ;-)

Don't get excited, Bill. She was just saying "thanks". MLB
