It seems the ranks of the Highland furkids have again swollen.

Nancy went out to buy kitty kibble this afternoon. I don't have all the
details yet, but she happened upon some folks with a tiny kitten that
*had* be rehomed immediately. So Nancy rehomed it!

Little Ranger is a grey female, somewhere around 6 to 8 weeks old. TOo
young to be away from mama, I know, but apparently there was no way to
avoid it. I haven't seen photos yet, but will share them as I see them.
At last report Ranger is sniffing around the house and the other kitties
are slowly approaching her without growls or hisses.

oh dear....

if i came back with a kitten, my roommate would be so mad.  I think
though if i held up the kitten in front of me, it would keep her from
killing me.

Never underestimate the power of a cute kitten

Aww, Dan, you two are well on your way to becoming crazy cat people. ;o)
Purrs that the older cats accept Ranger into the family soon. If she is
already eating solids, it's not so bad that she is not with her mother;
the older cats can teach her how to be a proper cat. Good luck with her!

Yay!! Another reason to get into a job where you can spend more time at
home! :-)

Much though Harri has loved her roadcat existence, cats are by nature
highly territorial and I'm sure that she'd really be happier in the end
(after a brief period of readjustment) in her own home. Besides, can't
have little Ranger upstaging her, can we?
