Did a 60-mile pootle round various bits of Norfolk today on my bicycle.
Great apart from the headwind for the last couple of hours.

Got home, had bath, flung on an aged track suit I have not been able to get
into for years and vegged-out on the sofa. I was joined by a certain
one-eyed black ladycat who took it upon herself to stretch out alongside me
and purr. I understand that the sonic vibrations of cat purrs are wonderful
at soothing aching muscles ;-)

Cheers, helen s

60 miles! God bless you, dear! Hope those vibrations help. :)

They are also great for relaxing you and soothing headaches

Why does your ladycat have one eye?

Indeed they are.

> Why does your ladycat have one eye?

Several years ago she had an argument with a motor vehicle and it won.
Waffles had many injuries including one eye blown, so it had to be removed.
It bothers her not one jot. Indeed, if I ever have an illness or injury
which leaves me disfigured, Waffles is my role model as it hasn't affected
her sense of self-worth one bit :-)
