Were you interviewing for your and Tom's (possible) new job(s)?  Checking
out new digs?

I went to an interview for a job that would be great if it were in
another location.... :)

Oh, not the one you were talking about a couple of weeks ago (and Tom
getting one in the same area)?

Nope, haven't heard back from the one in NY. The recruiter said that's
good, cuz they usually tell you right away when they're not interested... :)

Uh, in what field do you ever hear back from the ones who aren't
interested? :-)

Well, if a recruiter contacts you, I've been told he/she contacts you
back one way or another... :)
My background is in Chemical Engineering...

OK, I don't usually deal with recruiters, being the clerical/admin
type. ;-)
