OT:Need favour from US friend

There's an item on the US ebay ending in about an hour. The vendor will
only ship to the States. I'd like to buy it, because it's something I
want very much, and this is the cheapest I've ever seen it.

The item is small & light thusly:

Would any of you kind folks be willing to receive delivery of this item,
and then forward it to me?

I'd be happy of course to cover your charges, and owe you a favour. If
you can think of any way of repaying the favour, I'd be happy to.

Course, I may not win the auction.

No you don't. But I'm glad they will ship directly! I'm glad you won it.
It's hard to get those things sometimes. Everyone bids at the last minute!
