My LLL (long lost love) called to confirm he's heading in this direction
tomorrow.  It's a long drive so he'll find a campground overnight and be
here Wednesday morning to pick me up.  I'll be taking Persia and Peaches to
be boarded early Wednesday morning. (Shhhh, don't tell Persia!  Peaches
doesn't give a rip one way or the other.)

I expect to be gone for 7 days, maybe 8.  So don't panic if you don't hear
from me for a week after tomorrow.

Thank you, Lori!  I'm excited, too!  I fact, I have to unpack and repack now
that I know what the weather will be like.  I'm nervous because, not having
really done anything for 7 months, I've gained 10 lbs.  However, as much as
I love him, John is no Mel Gibson so it's okay :)

Speaking of Mel Gibson - our favourite film is 'Braveheart' (except for the
ending, which after the first time neither of us could stand to watch).  We
quote dialog from it all the time - he loves to hear me talk with the brogue
like my grandparents did.  He did a pastel of them from their wedding photo
back in 1980 - god, I've known him forever, huh?!

I'm bringing construction paper; he's supplying paint (well DUH, he's an
artist, of course he'd have paint!).  He says one night we'll create masks
for the characters, paper horses, etc. and enact the entire film in 15
minutes.  Now *that* should be funny!  (I think there will be some serious
drinking going on.)

Mega purrs for everyone who needs them while I'm thinking of it.

Weeble read this message over my shoulder, and as soon as I got up to use
the restroom, he was emailing Persia the bad news.  Well, bad news for
Persia (and Weebs), good news for you!!!!

Have a safe & fun trip.
