When I got the Fearsome Foursome last year in the middle of May, they were
about 4 weeks old.  I figure today is just as good as any other to celebrate
their first Birthday.

I've emailed Minnie's slave with B-Day wishes for her.

Ping came to us at a different time, but is probably the same age, so we
might as well celebrate for him too (though, with Ping, every day is P A R T
Y day, he's such a clown).

I never quite understood why you gave up Minnie (who started life out as
"Minie".  I must have missed a post or two explaining that.  Care to
enlighten me?

Note to Weebles:  Persia will be writing to her boyfriend later today or
tomorrow.  She wore herself out watching early morning birdies :)  She has
to gather her thoughts.

I originally had all 4 of the FF up for adoption, but after the heartbreak
of letting Minnie go to her new forever home, DH put his foot down (so hard
he almost went into the basement) and said no more are going!  So much for
any plans of 'fostering' in the future....

But I got a reply back from Minnie's slave:

"I actually gave Minnie a birthday gift last weekend!  I bought her some fun
toys from target.  They kind of look like that toy you gave her that was on
a stick, the long one.  Except these ones are like the feathery end placed
on a ball.  She has turned into a kitty who loves to play fetch.  In fact
sometimes I think she's part dog!  She still sleeps on my pillow everynight,
and sometimes right on top of my face, until of course I can't breathe and
wake up.  She also likes to play with her toy mice all around my bed.  My
bed butts up into the corner of my room so she enjoys dropping her mice from
the top of the bed to the floor and then nose diving under the bed to get it
out and  then she starts all over.  In fact I washed my sheets the other day
and when I lifted up my mattress I found 4 toy mice.  They must not have
made the trip all the way to the floor.   But she's doing good!  She's
getting a small bit of a belly on her, I guess she gets a few too many
treats, but it's ok for her to be spoiled! "

The long toy she's referring to is the Fuzzy Feather Snake (like the one in
the piccies of Weebs making his spectacular leaps).

Minnie's such a princess, and I'm glad that she has such a good slave!
