I was petting Basho earlier and I ended up *covered* in cat hair. I don't mind cat hair, of course (hey, with 7 cats I'd better not mind cat hair!), but he is shedding a whole lot of hair! I'm still trying to process it. I had it done here at home, which was a real blessing - I highly recommend doing that, if you (generic) are ever in the same situation. -L. Luckily Russian Blues have only two 'layers' of fur, where most cats have three, so Mere isn't taking part in the shed-fest so much. But I have piles of mostly black fur lying around.
