I was petting Basho earlier and I ended up *covered* in cat hair. I
don't mind cat hair, of course (hey, with 7 cats I'd better not mind cat
hair!), but he is shedding a whole lot of hair!
Time to break out the brush and start brushing cats. :)

With 7 cats, you could probably knit a kitten with the hair you'll brush
out! ;>

No kidding! My cats are going nuts grooming. Unfortunately, I put my
biggest shedder to sleep on 3/28 (my dog Tosh). :( I miss her hair
already.

Thanks, Karen. I'm still trying to process it. I had it done here at
home, which was a real blessing - I highly recommend doing that, if you
(generic) are ever in the same situation.

Thanks, Jean. It was hard - I had her 11 years.

Whether it's 11 years or 11 weeks it still hurts to lose them.

A house is not a home, without a cat.

Yes, shedding season is in full swing here too. Luckily Russian Blues
have only two 'layers' of fur, where most cats have three, so Mere isn't
taking part in the shed-fest so much. But I have piles of mostly black
fur lying around.
