Sassy may be an old lady but in spring time the kitten still comes out
in her. I love it! She gets a major case of zoomies, wants to play all
the time, even her eyes take on that wild kitten look. I assume she is
expending all that energy she stores up in winter lounging by the
fireplace. Seeing her act like this gives me kitten fever!

Stinky too. He is all bright eyed, and bushy tailed, too, especially
when he gets a whiff of outside cat. ;)

I especially love the zoomies in a fourteen-year-old cat. And I can't
tell you what a relief it is for me to see him bouncing off the walls,
still making his leaps, and chattering in the windows. ;)

I don't know exactly how old Persia is... the vet guessed 2 or 3 when she
yowled her way into my home in January 2001. So that makes her, what, 5?
She gets the zoomies every morning and every evening. She arrived front
declawed so it's pretty funny to see her wildly scratching the arm or back
of the sofa like she can actually *do* some damage and her pupils are HUGE.
Yes, I'm a WILD CAT! I have to restrain myself from laughing.
Today she was chattering away at the birds she saw out the window. I love
when she does that. Her tail was lashing back and forth and she was very
vocal. She wore herself out and had to take a nap on the pillow in the
sunshine by the sliding door in the bedroom.
