Smokie Darling (Annie) - I figure since my posting has become, shall we say, somewhat backward, I'd try to "sound" the part.

Thank you, ma'am. For once the flash didn't turn her grey (blue) fur brown. But you can't tell how "blue" she really is unless she's in natural light, nor that her eyes are green. If you look closely you can see the subtle black stripes on her tail. She's got to have some Russian Blue in her although she's bigger than that breed normally gets. Let's just call her "fluffy" and leave it at that. :)

Barneybutt used to weigh nearly 18, but we got him exercising a bit (TED didn't believe I'd get him to fetch for so long every day). Now he is maintaining his weight, actually seems to leave a little dinner, grazes on dry all day... He's a happy boy. Too bad I can't teach him sit-ups to work on that dew lap he's got. Ah well...

If it's correct, she's 20 lbs!
She has to eat a special Rx diet due to bladder stones. She plays, gets the zoomies, does all that stuff. But she's a BIG cat. I measured her in "meatloaf position" and from chest to rump she's 18 inches long.

They'll re-up her shots and I'll have them weigh her while she's there.

I've got major cleaning to do!) either Tuesday or Wednesday (not sure yet). We don't want to be rushed on the drive down. Setup is Friday, 4/22 and the show is the 23rd and 24th. We'll stay a couple of extra days afterward.

Nikki likes hanging out in the closet, too (usually on top of my clothes, though).

Nikki likes hanging out in the closet, too >(usually on top of my clothes, though). Cinders is fond of the closet in which I keep my shirts. I have learned to leave the bottom shelf bare, because, every time she gets a chance, she will hop up onto it. She has also accidentally spent several hours locked in a closet on a couple of occasions, because I didn't notice her going in and shut the door with her inside.
I joke about having a closeted cat.

Hopitus - 12 Apr 2005 06:09 GMT Your Persia-girl is so sleek and pretty, in all her pics.

Nikki likes hanging out in the closet, too (usually > on top of my clothes, though). Jessie, the little scamp, likes to open doors and drawers. We live in an older how which has "settled" a lot, so very few of our inside doors will actually "latch" - you just have to pull them open. They'll stay shut, but you don't have to twist the handles to open them. Jessie doesn't like *staying* inside closets or drawers, she just seems to have objections to *closed* closets and drawers. Bandit, however, *does* like sleeping in closets. So Bandit will follow Jessie around, wait for her to open a closet door, and then dash in for a nap! ;>

But Weebles is getting a big head as he's *so* proud that Persia is *his* girlfriend. He's sturtting around like he's the king-o-da-world. If this keeps up, it's gonna get intolerable.
What's kitty-mommy to do?
