It's been storming all day. She's terrified of thunder. Rather than get
survey her domain, play with her toys, nap on the bed or read with me on the
couch, she's been hiding in the closet all day. There's a brief lull in the
storms at the moment (more to come!) so she came out for some scritches and
a bit of kibble and had a chat with me. I imagine it went something like
this: "Would you make that noisy weather stop? The closet is boring. I've
been in there *all day*!"

I am properly ashamed and have been chastised. Looks like it's moving out

And you'd think she should be grateful that you finally changed the weather

LOL!

Fugazi and Isis used to moan at me when the weather was too hot, I
think they were saying "When its cold you make it hot by switching a
hot thing on- can't you switch this hot thing off?"

Dear Miss Persia,
I'm scared of thunder, too. I'm not scared of many things, only going
to TED and thunder. I go down to the bottom of the house to get away,
but I can still hear it. Then I get lonely down there, so I call for
my Mommy. She comes down and holds me, and tries to get me to come
back up. She says "Come on, Stink, you don't want to stay down here
all by yourself." But I won't go until the noise stops.

I don't think anything really bad can happen to you if you stay in,
but it scares me anyway.
