"I'm too big for my bed" series!

*WHY* does she insist on sleeping here in a bed at least two sizes too
small???!  We have 6 other cat beds, at least 4 of which would hold her more
comfortably!

I kinda got a giggle out of that cordless phone right behind her, started
wondering if one of us had really gone over the edge and went and got her
cat(s) thier own private phone line!!!

LOL.  Why yes, she does!  ;>  No really, the way my dresser is designed and
the position of the phone plug in and the electric outlet and the shortness
of the wires makes it impossible to put the phone anywhere else.  I figure
since it's cordless and you can pick it up and take it anywhere it doesn't
matter - except that it *does* look kind of stupid!  ;>

Awww, that's too sweet.  My bitties like to sleep in too small spaces
too (but move before I can take their *%&$^#$* picture, the snots),
maybe it's comforting (rather like feeling safe in a womb?)?  Heck I
dunno, but Sammy is a sweetie, and L-O-V-E the "too big" pictures.

That yellow thing looks like it's biting her foot in the first and
second photos (hee-hee).

What is it about cats and too-small sleeping spots!  ;>

Yeah, that's her "Panic Mouse".  She's not spoiled or anything, of course!

LMHO! Great pics! :o)

Did she fit in that bed when she was smaller? It reminds me of my friend's
former guide dog Megan, a Golden retriever who just couldn't understand
that she was no longer small enough to fit in a lap.

When Megan was off-duty, if I was visiting she always wanted to sit in my
lap. Even a smaller-than-average adult Golden Retriever, as she is, is big
enough to squash the person they're sitting on, LOL. But by heck, she must
have sat on a lot of laps as a puppy, because she still thought she fit in
laps once she grew up.

If Sammy used to fit in that bed, maybe she's lying there now wondering
why the bed's gotten so small, rather than realizing SHE'S the one who's
gotten bigger. ;o)

Now that is one spoiled cat! So many toys. And why should you get her
a larger bed? She looks perfectly comfortable lying there playing with
all her toys. What a charming rascal.

There is no such thing as a spoiled cat, just a properly trained hoomin.

Cats like small spaces, right?  Can't get much smaller than that.
Reminds me of when Tyche tries to fit herself into a soup box...just
cause a three week old bit fits, doesn't mean a ten pound two-year-old
will...

6 beds, wow. We only have the one, and only Kumani uses it.  Nox far
prefers a pillow; Smokey's got a thing for hte couch and the
comforter, and Tyche runs around almost non stop..

Yeah, they're just a *teensy* bit spoiled!  ;>

Four of the beds are baskets that I got from Michaels when someone here
posted that they were on sale I believe it was 2 for $5.  I then got four of
those little travel pillows and they fit inside perfectly.  However, the
only bed any of the cats sleep in is the one you see Sammy in.

I have given up with cat beds....I got them and they are as good as
new! Same with all my other cats. Speedy Joe preferred a chair. Fugazi
liked cardboard boxes that were too small for her. Isis slept in a big
cardboard box on top of the fridge (it was one of those where the lid
pulled up and it had only been pulled up halfway so she would sleep in
the covered bit, sit about in the uncovered bit and sun herself on the
roof of the covered bit- we used to reckon she had a "desirable
detatched one bedroom apartment in a good location with sitting room
and flat roof for sunbathing")

Reduzel likes to doze off on the seat of our not much used (at least
not by us) exercise bike and Sarrasine sleeps on an old coffee table
in the kitchen I think they may have sniffed the beds once....
