When we got our Brandy at seven months old, she was a little bitty thing who
looked like she needed to grow into her very big tail, and now that she's a
year old she's grown and then some. We got some of those disposeable cameras
and took pictures of all the kids and got double prints so we could send the
ones of Roxie and Odessa to Ten Lives and brandy's to Tenth Chance, a sort
of "where are they now" thing.
Marilyn works a spit away from me at the department store where I do the
majority of my financial sinning, and yesterday we took her a pile of Brandy
shots. Oy, that sounds like something you'd buy at a nightclub! And
Marilyn's eyes almost fell out: "Omigawd, THAT'S Brandy!? She's HUGE!" And
she had a look on her face like a lady who's been sent pix of her first
grandbaby. She almost cried right at the Better Handbags counter. She'd
never thought her tiny baby Brandy would grow into a cat with paws the size
of my palms, and tall with a big puffy tail and big pink nose! I can't wait
until I can get my pictures scanned so I can fix it for you all to see the
kids!
Marilyn was in a slump until we brought those pictures. The store pays crap
wage and she's overworked. She was standing taller by the time we left, and
smiling wider. We told her that our baby-girl is such a sweetie we call her
"Brandy-candy" and it just knocked her for a loop. I think she went home a
little happier after being worked to the bone, the poor dear lady.
Now does anyone know if Kinko's can take pictures and put them on a disk, so
we can put them into La Machine? I have shots of all four of our babies and
so want to share them! We learned that Roxie is indeed our Supermodel. She
loves the camera! When we break it out, I'll be dipped if she doesn't come
posing!
Blessed be,
Baha

I'm quite sure that if you take pictures to one of those photo printing
machines they have at Wal-Mart and drugstores and everywhere else they can
scan them onto disc as well as make copies of prints and prints from discs.

Yep, our Walgreen's has one of those things. I'm lucky, as I've got my
own scanner, and DH bought me a Sony digital camera for Christmas. Now
I've just got to find the photos of the RB kitties to put on photos
page...

Awwww, how sweet! I hope that you can figure out how to digitize your
pics. Maybe your next bout of financial sinning should be for a
digital camera. :)

DH and I have a scanner and both our computers have CD-write drives.
We could do that disk.

Hi Baha!
Target has scanning machines, so does Walmart. Kinko's did have a full
computer set up so you could scan stuff in yourselves. Some of the Wegman's
grocery stores have a photo lab set up in them, and they have scanners.
Hope this helps!
Good luck !

Every Year on his Birthday, I send a picture of Wilson to the vet
my friend bought him from for me, he was feral and the tiniest
kitten I'd ever seen away from its mother, either she wasn't with them when
found or the person who took them to the vet couldn't, catch her
or couldn't be bothered, I really dont know, but the vet and his staff enjoy
the pics. Jean.P.
