Bittie Personalities

Each of the five bitties is developing his/her own personality.

Eric is a snuggler.  He loves to go his own way, but prefers to be
snuggled up to the other kittens. He was swaying back and forth the
other day while Mandy had music playing.  I thought it was appropriate.
He also likes to be held the most of the bitties.  He is very friendly
and snuggles to hoomins as well as to the other bitties.  He also stays
the closest to his meowmie.

Traveler is a climber.  I was holding him yesterday and he climbed out
of my arms, up my shirt, onto my shoulder and was trying to climb down
my back.  Needless to say, I wouldn't let him get very far.  He is
fearless when climbing, but timid the rest of the time.  He mews the
most of the bitties

Spike is a stinker.  He has to make sure that he is laying on top of one
of the other kittens in order to get his lunch.  He also likes to
snuggle with me, but only if I have another kitten with me as well.

Qui Gun Kit is shy.  He seems to think that he is supposed to be hiding.
However, he will come charging out when he hears one of us big bare
cats coming into the room.

Pez is a nut.  He likes to get himself into sticky situations.  I have
found him sleeping draped over the side of the kitty bed at times.  He
also thinks that he HAS to eat his lunch from under his meowmie's arm
pit.  He is also the quietest of the group.

Thanks, Pam!  A great rundown of Sonya's babies.  I think it's time for
a rousing chorus of
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!"

AAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!

Nice run down, Pam.  They are amazing, aren't they?  Like hooman litters,
they show their personalities very young.
Thanks!

AAAAAWWWWWWWW! :o)
It must be so much fun watching them. I think it's very appropriate,
too, that Eric sways to music.

Shortly after finding Kumani and Tyche, we had an idea what their
personalities would be like.

As an itty bitty bit, Tyche liked running headfirst over the end of
the bed.  There was nothing she wouldn't dare, nothing she wouldn't
try, even at 3 weeks old.  We were worried about her getting hurt in
wrestling matches becasue she was a lot smaller than her sister--then
we realized the one crying was usually Kumani because Tyche had
latched onto an ear/tail/leg with a death-grip.  Tyche responded to
being slower and smaller by being more insane, and it worked...

Even today, Tyche's always pouncing the other cats, running around the
house yelling for no apparent reason, and pushing the limits of
badness.

Kumani was a quieter, snugglier bit, and today she is our sweetyface,
all over everyone purring.

We found them open last Sunday when we came home from Wilmington, North
Carolina.  They are getting so cute and are really good sized babies.  I
told Jim, no asking here, to take pictures of the bitties with his
digital camera.  I hope to be able to post them in a couple of days.

It's fascinating how different siblings can be, even at such a young
age... looking forward to more bittie pics :)

Sounds like you've named them appropriately!

Ohmygawd!  I'm getting another serious case of kitten fever (remember Sammy,
Lori, remember Sammy and don't go there, your wounds are still healing!!!).

Great descriptions!  Thanks.   MLB

A giant PURRRR to all the wee ones. What a group of little sweeties!

It's fascinating how kitties can display their uniqueness even THIS soon,
when their primary activities for the day involve eating, sleeping,
growing, and accepting doting from mama and humans.

And, of course, it's good to see that they're being attentively looked
after, so their new families will be able to adopt a pre-spoiled bitty
when the time comes. :o)

They're all *so* cute!  It sounds as though Pez has found his favorite
nipple.  Watching him nurse must be cute, since it would force Sonya
to stretch out her foreleg.

I loved reading these descriptions.  And of course they will continue to
morph, uh, I mean form, into little individuals as time goes on :)
