I think Scout has a sensitive tummy... we've been feeding them science
diet kitten food but they're getting too old for it, so we bought a
packet of their adult food (the standard formula). They're eating it
okay, but one of them is making squishypoops in the litterbox. I
suspect it's Scout because they're buried - Scout digs to China in the
box, while Silver just squats and then walks away.
Speak of the devil - Scout just came and jumped onto the desk and
started headbutting my arm to make me pet her :) Maybe she doesn't
like me talking about her digestive system online... lol
Anyway, I don't think this is good for her... it's not much good for
me having to clean it up anyway! What food would people recommend for
a picky eater with a sensitive tummy? We tried purina premium catchow
and Scout just wouldn't eat it. She liked another brand of kittenfood
but it filled the litterbox with real stinkeroonies (from both cats)
And I tried giving her some science diet canned catfood but she just
licked the gravy off it and walked way from the beef chunks! She loves
fresh cooked chicken and roast beef, but she turned her nose up at
turkey I cooked for them, and she won't touch eggs or any kind of
vegetable... What to feed her that she'll actually eat????

Might just have been too quick a change. You sometimes have to transition
sloowly. Mixing it with her old food. Go back to the kitten food and see if
she firms up, then start mixing the new in.

Avoid stuff with corn in it, it's a common issue for many cats. I highly
recommend the following brands: Innova, Felidae, Flint River Ranch.
Always, canned food is better than dry, but some cats just won't eat it
(like Fez).

A: What the other Karen said, the transition might have just been too
abrupt.
B: One of the brands my cats LOVE & According to TED & the pet store owner,
is easy to digest is: California Natural Chicken & Rice.
Hope this helps.

Try "Royal Canin Sensitive" - it worked wonders for Robbie who suffers
IBD. Alternatively, if you're looking to use a wet food, try Nutro Max
Cat.

There may be better foods out there, but Hill's has a "Sensitive
Stomach" formula that has seemed to work well for Wolfie.
