Everyone at work was complaining about losing an hour of sleep because of
the change to Daylight Savings Time. They've obviously never had a starving
kitty at 4 am.

Cali was exceptionally persistent last night. She started with the head
smacking, proceeded to the purring in the ear, then sitting on the head,
followed by pouncing on various body parts. After about the third attempt
she started knocking things off the dresser. I ended up sleeping through the
alarm and was half an hour late for work. :)

What do kitties care for the time change? When it's time to eat, it's
time! ;o)

Used cat?  no thanks.  we have quite enough badness of our own :)

(Poor kitty.  Don't mess with kitty's food.  Oddly enough, Smokey was
actually quiet until the alarm clock goes off...I think that's his
song trigger moreso than the actual hour.)

Chablis used to do this.. Then when I got Muscat, they'd tag team me.  I
shut them out of the bedroom a few times when it became too much & now they
wait calmly for me to get up.  Of course, the INSTANT I make large movements
in bed, like I might be getting up, they are ALL over me.

Good Luck!

All was quiet last night. Smokey decided to stay the night, so Cali stayed
away. Cali does not associate with the lesser creatures. :)

Try filling her food bowl just before you go to bed. Hopefully it will last
until breakfast LOL.
