Our childminder who looks after Froggie two days a week has a daughter
with her own baby, eighteen months old and so sweet. Baby is very ill.
She has been in hospital since yesterday morning with a very high
temperature, breathing difficulties, drifting in & out of consciousness.
Her sats are low; she's alternating a nebuliser & oxygen.
Apparently she perked up a bit this morning but went downhill again this
afternoon.
Please send your purrs.

Seems like just about every kid gets it to one degree or another. My
coworkers little grandson had a heck of a time with it.

It's so tough when they're in the hospital so young. Big-time purrs
for a full recovery.
Of course it's no pleasure when your 84 either. My friend and
neighbor, Doris the cat lady, had to go back to the hospital for more
surgery on her leg. Tootie and Meyer are back to tolerating us as
Lynda or I feed them.
Regards and Purrs,

Good news. Baby is doing well and expected to be out of hospital
tomorrow.
She's been diagnosed with asthma, which was complicated by a chest
infection. That has responded well and the temperature has come down.
The asthma diagnosis is not a surprise; she's had a weak chest all her
life. Childminder sounded quite upbeat and said that now they know
what's going on, they'll know what to do next time.
Thanks all for the healing purrs. They have worked their magic as usual
:-)

I am sure that not knowing is definitely worse than knowing becuase at least
you feel you have a course of action. Very good news that she is doing so
much better!
