Thanks all for the purrs that you have sent. I saw the doctor the
other day. I seem to be one of the 10% that will not need surgery to fix
my broken hand/wrist. I am happy about this but I do have to wear the
cast another month. But then again I'd wear it another 6 months if it
meant no surgery. So thanks again. The power of the purr works wonders.

Purrs for your broken hand.  Hands and fingers really hurt when they are
injured.  Have "researched" to find when and how this happened but could
not find anything.  I think I am missing posts.  MLB

That is great news!  Continued healing purrs that you be 100% in no
time.

That's great news!  Does that mean that the blood flow to that bone
was okay?
Hopitus - 03 Apr 2005 20:25 GMT
Glad to hear this news. Often orthopods tell patients the
worst-case-scenario (surgery in your case) just so they
won't be blown away at being handed such news @ their
recheck visit(s)....did the doc know what you do for a
living? If you were, say, a telemarketer, it wouldn't be such a big deal....
One of my friends, who is a family practice doc, gave me
the strangest look and then ROFL when I remarked, upon viewing a nursery
full of baby-sized beautifully
painted furniture she had constructed herself w/her big
table-encased band-saw (the furniture was for my baby
granddaughter's BD present)..."It's a good thing you're
not a surgeon, Michele!". As I say, it's all relative......

Yes. As far as the doc could tell the flow is fine. I have to go back
in 2 weeks and he's going to check it again. But for now I'm really happy.

Bob, I'm so sorry I missed sending you purrs on your hand after the
accident.  I can't imaging how I missed it.  Naturally I'm elated that
you won't need surgery.  Lots of big-time purrs coming your way from
down in LA that it heals up good as new.

Regards and Purrs,
O J
