Frank here. I'm afraid my 'kind uncle' approach to the new kitten has
not been a success. As long as she thought that all big b/w cats are as
mean as Nikki <hisspit! I'm not mean, I'm just more assertive than you,
you spineless excuse for a boycat> Shut up, Nikki, I'm talking now.
Does no one have any respect for me any more? As I was saying, at the
beginning she was scared of me and kept a wide berth. But now she has
realised we are two different cats with different personalities, she
thinks she can treat me with the most appalling disrespect.

She will attack me when I'm trying to eat and when I'm trying to sleep,
she snuggles up to the hoomin at night so I can't practise my
mind-melding on her any more, because I refuse to snuggle up close to
the obnoxious little stinker. The little sneak hides under the covers so
I never know if she's in bed or not, and I have to keep checking where
she is, and don't get much sleep because I have to keep an eye out for
her all the time.

Sometimes I try to approach her kindly and give her a little sniff, but
she starts bapping me immediately. I ask you! Does no one teach these
kids any manners these days?

So Waffles, if you could teleport over with your fine sharp claws at the
ready, I would be very appreciative of any help with disciplining this
annoying little brat. I'm a boycat, after all, and I wouldn't like to
actually hit a girl, though I do sometimes raise my paw to show her that
it's not completely out of the question.

Purrs,
Your Frank,
In dire need of help

Certainly. I'll sort out the little hussy-in-training. Of course, my sweet,
you can always teleport over here and I'll calm your frayed nerves with my
own sweet purrs. Bring your gaiters.

It sounds like Mere must love Frank, and miss playing and wrestling
with her littermates.  I hope they they become very good friends.

Hiya, Frank! Captain here!

Maybe you can teach her to chase her OWN tail so she'll stop attacking
YOUR tail.

It's fun. See? You turn around and spot your tail, and then you try to
pounce on it. I'll show you!

::scamper scamper scamper spin spin run scoot run THUD::

Ouch! Who put that wall there?

I feel dizzy anyway. I think I'll lie down for a nap. Right here will do.
Talk to you later.

Thank you for that demonstration, Captain. Mere does frequently chase
her own tail (with a tail like that, how could she not?). I suppose she
wants some change once in a while.

Frankie, who has been known to chse his own tail, too, even at his age
