After just two doses of Chlortrimeton at half the
dosage the vet recommended, she shows no signs
of soreness now. She began sneezing 12 days ago, and
the muzzle soreness appeared maybe five days ago. She is back to eating all
her food and seems normal again.
(The vet recommended 4 mg tablets of Chlortrimeton
cut in half and given as 2 mgs every 12 hours. I gave her 2 mgs every 24
hours for 2 days because she is so little and I think they often
overmedicate.)
Thanks to all who offered advice and good wishes.

Good news! A sore nose can quickly become cracked and difficult to treat,
so I'm glad you took fast action.

Thank you, MaryL, me too! I am so wrapped up in this little
cat, I swear my own nose was beginning to hurt!

YAY! I'm so glad she's feeling better and eating again.
I just posted about Bandit and the amazing recuperative powers cats have.
If we just help them a little they'll help themselves a lot!
Hugs,

Yes indeed. Please give Bandit a kiss for me if you think
you can do so without losing a lip. :)

I'm glad to hear she's doing better. Continued purrs for a swift recovery.
